Job Description
Our electronics distributor client in Lake Forest is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join their team! 70% of duties will include moderate warehouse work and 30% will consist of setting up hard drive arrays and testing equipment. All duties will be trained on but applicants must have 1+ year of warehouse experience.
Temp to Permanent after 6 months of work
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm (1 Hour Lunch)
Job Duties:
- Setup new hard drive equipment for customers and conduct testing using company testing equipment. Report any errors to manager via email.
- Process orders in shipping system, print labels, and secure tape onto boxes.
- Process in the deliveries of the products includes; unloading the delivery trunk, breakdown the pallets and store product in the correct area of the warehouse bays.
- Manage inventory overflow storage.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of shipping and receiving experience
- Professional or recreational experience in computer hardware is a plus! Gamers are welcome.
- Must be able to Stand for long periods, routinely lift and carry up to 35+ pounds
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good communication and computer skills
