Inbound & Inventory Specialist
Contract Length: 3 Months
Location: Chelsea NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20/hour 

Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inbound & Inventory Specialist to support warehouse operations on a contract basis. This role will focus on processing inbound shipments, verifying inventory accuracy, and ensuring merchandise is received, documented, and stored properly. The ideal candidate will be reliable, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unpack, and process inbound shipments in a timely manner

  • Verify accuracy of incoming inventory against purchase orders and packing slips

  • Tag, label, and prepare merchandise for storage or further processing

  • Maintain inventory organization and accuracy within the warehouse

  • Assist with cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliations as needed

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks

  • Follow all safety and quality standards in daily operations

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle packages as required

  • Comfortable working on feet for extended periods

  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full contract length
