Warehouse Associate
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties and operations to ensure efficient handling of goods and materials.
Compensation: $18/hr
Schedule: Part-time (15-30 hours per week), Monday thru Friday between 830am to 5pm.
After 90 days, will become full-time (40 hours) and possible pay increase!
You will be responsible for providing first-class customer delivery and experience working with general merchandise and distribution networks. Responsible for being a results-driven, self-motivated, and resourceful logistics manager who is hands-on with a track record of contributing to the overall growth strategy of an organization by performing the following duties.
Duties
- Perform picking, packing, and shipping of orders - Load and unload vehicles, completion of stock, and load bay areas - Plan and schedules deliveries, and supply chain management - Ensuring project deadlines are met, and all set targets are achieved. - Knowledgeable of importing and forwarding, and freight/ transport industries. - Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs (Excel) and related special logistics software. - Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Manage warehouse inventory and maintain organized storage areas
- Collaborate with warehouse management and team to ensure deadlines and goals are met.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience
- Proficiency in using logistics software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- High school diploma or GED
