Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Employment Type: Contract (6 months, with potential for extension)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to support testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components, subassemblies, and systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting and training junior technicians.
Primary Responsibilities

Perform soldering activities (soldering certification preferred)

Set up and operate standardized electronic test equipment

Read and interpret procedures, blueprints, and electronic schematics

Conduct functional testing using appropriate test equipment

Troubleshoot components, subassemblies, and systems down to the component level

Troubleshoot and test final products to ensure quality and functionality

Repair and maintain test equipment as needed

Accurately document test results, procedures, and data

Train and mentor junior technicians

Maintain the highest ethical standards in all work activities

Perform other duties as assigned

Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electronics Technician or Tester
-
Experience working with discrete and/or hybrid electronic components, parts, or relays

Proficiency using standardized electronic test equipment

Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics

Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Soldering certification (JSTD)

Experience troubleshooting complex electronic systems
