Job Description

Under general supervision sets-up and runs standardized tests on electronic/hybrid parts, components or relays according to published procedure. Records and interprets test data, maintains required logs and files. Troubleshoots and corrects set-ups/equipment when necessary.
Shift: 7:00am-4:00PM
Pay:  $20-$25/hr BOE

Primary Responsibilities
  • Set-up and be able to use test equipment.
  • Read and interpret procedures/ blueprints/ schematics.
  • Computer skills (keyboard, data entry, etc.)
  • Ability to use test equipment to perform functional testing.
  • Troubleshoot parts to component level and test equipment.
  • Record appropriate documentation and test data.
  • Troubleshoot final products.
  • Train Jr. Technicians.
  • Must be able to repair test equipment.
  • Work with manufacturing engineers to build prototype.
  • Actively participates in the Quality Improvement System
  • Actively participates in Lean and 6s initiatives
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged
  • Performs other duties as required
Basic Qualifications
  • Two years of technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Two or more years’ experience as an electronic technician/tester working with discrete/hybrid components/parts or relays utilizing standardized test equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
  • Basic computer knowledge required
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace industry experience
