Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Project Design & Leadership
-
Lead structural design and analysis for diverse projects, including commercial buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities.

Oversee project teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.

Mentor junior engineers and review their work to maintain quality and consistency.

Client Collaboration
-
Communicate with clients to understand project needs and present effective, tailored solutions.

Build and maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Structural Analysis & Compliance
-
Perform structural analysis, simulations, and evaluations to enhance safety, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national building codes and standards.

Innovation & Development
-
Stay current with advancements in structural engineering.

Integrate new technologies and methodologies to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications
-
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering required.

Master’s degree preferred.
-

Licensure
-
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
-

Experience
-
3–5 years of progressive experience in structural engineering.
-
Proven track record of successful project leadership.

Technical Skills
-
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA Suite, 3D Foundation, AutoCAD, Section, Connection).

Experience with Revit preferred.

Strong knowledge of industry codes (AISC, ACI, ASCE).

Soft Skills
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-
Leadership qualities with the ability to manage projects and mentor junior staff.
-
Project management experience is a plus.
