Are you detail-oriented with a knack for organization? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where accuracy and efficiency are key? We’re seeking a dedicated Stock Room Clerk to become a vital part of our warehousing team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations by accurately handling and managing parts and materials, supporting our production and inventory processes with precision and teamwork.
What You’ll Do:
- Determine stockroom locations of parts required for work orders
- Count, package, and label parts with high accuracy
- Make system transactions to remove stock and issue parts to work orders
- Perform cycle counts and assist during physical inventories
- Move materials within the stockroom and to work cells or remote locations
- Communicate effectively with team members and support good housekeeping practices
- Perform other duties as assigned to keep operations running seamlessly
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of parts handling and warehousing procedures
- Attention to detail and fast, accurate number entry
- Ability to follow safety and organization standards
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with stockroom operations or warehousing environments
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Exposure to stockroom or warehouse functions is desirable but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Other Requirements:
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands frequently
- Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds occasionally
- Comfort working in a factory environment with moderate to high noise levels, fumes, and dust
