Description
JOB SUMMARY:

 

Under the direction of the CIO, administer and support various local bank information systems, plan, implement, analyze maintain and support the network and related operating systems and core services.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Analyze, maintain, and support network and related operating systems; install upgrades and maintain network operating systems.

• Maintain and oversee the operation of bank computers, printers, scanners, servers, switches, and multi-platform networks and related peripheral equipment.

• Provide support for LAN and WAN and related applications, software and utilities, working with the bank’s technical support resource partner as appropriate to ensure network uptime and availability.

• Configure, install, and test various systems.

• Recommend and execute the purchase and acquisition of information technology hardware and software.

• Provide training and technical support of junior level bank technical staff.

• Provide specialized technical assistance in the planning and development of new projects and systems; conduct research of new technologies and implementation strategies; recommend and implement improvements; research and plan for new system implementations.

• Provide technical user support to the Bank staff as assigned.

• Maintain bank inventory documents including detail information regarding all bank computers, mobile devices and software licenses.

• Interacts with all levels of management and staff. May also interact with outside vendors and technical experts as directed.

• Perform related duties as assigned. 

Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

· Extensive knowledge of internal operating system technology, computer operations and hardware, network communications theory, network management software, concepts and troubleshooting techniques, Windows servers and multi-platform client network management, network operating systems and network architecture, configuration, and protocols, client-server technologies.

· Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

· Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.

· Install and configure complex data equipment.

· Troubleshoot and isolate network failures.

· Use performance monitoring software and interpret results.

 

Education/Licenses/Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and/or five years of experience as a systems administrator.

 

Work Environment 

• Standard office environment with a moderate noise level.

· Making substantial and repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

· Close visual acuity is required to perform activities including, but not limited to, preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.

· Regularly required to communicate verbally employees, clients, and vendors.

Pay Range: $31.00 to $39.00 per hour. Pay range may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
