Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead new product development and market introduction using a disciplined product life-cycle management approach to drive efficiency, profitability, and market success. This role partners cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver market-driven products from concept through launch and post-market optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the product requirements process by gathering and synthesizing input from customers, partners, Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to define clear, executable, market-driven product plans
- Document product requirements, use cases, and functional specifications for new and existing products in alignment with established product development processes
- Own end-to-end product launch execution, including schedules, pricing strategy, forecasting, product configuration, warranty considerations, and launch deliverables
- Plan and coordinate product testing activities and communicate results to cross-functional stakeholders to support product readiness and quality
- Apply strong business acumen to balance product performance, operational feasibility, financial impact, and long-term product strategy
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide market-driven insights based on customer feedback, sales input, and performance data
- Analyze post-launch performance metrics to assess product success and identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with Customer Service and Operations teams to monitor product return trends and quality indicators
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation
- Produce product documentation, competitive analyses, and marketing collateral to support internal teams and external customer communication
- Conduct in-depth product and competitive analyses using market data to inform product strategy, segmentation, and go-to-market planning
- Provide qualitative and quantitative market analysis, including addressable market and segmentation assessments, to support strategic planning
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders at briefings, meetings, and industry events
- Coordinate structured user evaluations during pre-release and post-release phases, maintaining active communication with stakeholders throughout the evaluation cycle
