Our mission is to provide holistic support to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them regain their independence and access stable housing. Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Associate Director of Healthcare Services who is also a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be a healthcare professional with a strong background in healthcare management, program development, and a deep commitment to improving the health and well-being of individuals experiencing homelessness. In this role, you will lead our healthcare services department, develop and implement innovative programs, and collaborate with community partners to ensure our clients receive comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and implement healthcare programs that address the unique needs of individuals experiencing homelessness.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and social workers, ensuring they provide compassionate and effective care.
- Community Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, agencies, and community organizations to enhance our clients' access to a wide range of services.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of healthcare services provided, implementing improvements and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the healthcare services budget, optimizing resource allocation to maximize impact.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to measure program outcomes and make data-driven decisions to improve service delivery.
- Advocacy: Advocate for policies and initiatives that promote healthcare equity and address the underlying causes of homelessness.
Qualifications:
- Valid California license as a RN
- 2- 5 years (minimum) relevant management experience in Healthcare Administration.
- Knowledge of the nature and causes of homelessness
- Current valid CA driver's license, Have a dependable vehicle with automobile insurance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to social justice and addressing homelessness.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and regulations.
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
- Collaborative and innovative mindset
- Bilingual Spanish speaker is a plus
