Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES – other duties may be assigned
- Management of Material Review Board activity
- Management and coordination of product non-conformances including In-House, Supplier and Customer initiated rejections.
- Coordination of and/ or performance of inspection activities to support production.
- Coordination and completion of First Article Inspection activities for components and assemblies produced at their assigned facility.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university preferred; and
- Five years of demonstrated experience in Quality Control in an aerospace manufacturing and assembly environment; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires working knowledge of aerospace quality system requirements including performance of First Article Inspection and Root Cause/ Corrective Actions.
- Knowledge of Material Review Board processes.
- Management of Approved Supplier Listings.
- Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement methods.
- Good verbal communication/ conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of inspection methods and procedures.
- Knowledge/ experience in blueprint reading.
