Job Description
General Overview
Under general supervision, performs product inspection and/or audits of quality assurance of limited complexity. Â May perform sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials and packaging line and manufacturing inspections. Â May inspect and test product manufactured or processed by suppliers to ensure conformance to requirements and specifications. Â Identifies material and processes as conforming or nonconforming. Â Writes simple reports of findings for review. Â Enters required data into system. Follows established procedures on routine work. Will receive instruction on new assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•   Responsible for understanding and use of hyperbaric, electrical, mechanical test fixtures, and procedures
•   Maintaining verification of equipment working conditions and calibration requirementsÂ
•   Notify errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and router to the support teams (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering).
•   Responsible for completing documentation (shop order and FATs) accurately and timely
•   Responsible for entering data into the IFS system accurately and timely.
•   Responsible for maintaining high quality standards and workmanship.
•   Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company
•   Maintain a safe working environment
•   Communicating special tooling needed to perform operation that may have not been identified.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education and/or Experience Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and some degree of vocational or technical training and 0-2 years of directly related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a directly related field.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Â Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Â Ability to speak effectively with other employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Â Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Â Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Outlook; MS Excel and MS Word software.Â
Other Skills and AbilitiesÂ
•   Recent experience in a manufacturing environment.
•   IPC-610 solder certified within the last 2 years preferred.
•   IPC 620 certification preferred.
•   Knowledge of crimped contacts.
•   Experienced with inspection of cables and connectors.
•   Competent with reading and interpreting drawings for correct wiring and connections.
•   Experience using a microscope, multimeter, calipers, height gages and miscellaneous electrical equipment.

•   U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.Â
