Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Leader, Quality Control (QC) to drive interdepartmental and cross-functional projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives. This role reports to the Department Head of QC T&I (Testing and Inspection) and offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in method development, quality, operations, and project management in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical end-to-end ownership of QC projects in collaboration with the project owner, overseeing all aspects of project management, including planning (time, budget, resources, quality), execution, monitoring, tracking, and reporting.
- Proactively identify and remove obstacles to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Address functional needs (technical, business, and operational) by collaborating with subject matter experts and highly skilled team members.
- Manage day-to-day QC operations and support technical projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory and quality standards.
- Track, analyze, and report on departmental metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in sciences, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical operations with a strong track record in technical project leadership and organizational management.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
- Proven success as a project leader in the diagnostics industry, including molecular diagnostics.
- Preferred: Experience in molecular biology, QC method development, and Quality Control within a regulated environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and cultivate key relationships across functions.
