Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Device Sterilization Technician to join our medical device manufacturing partner in the Irvine Spectrum area! Ideal candidates are those who are seeking to leave food service, kitchen, and sanitation environments. Candidates would be helping to wash, sterilize, and process equipment used in medical device production to support the production cycle. Monday - Friday
6:00AM - 2:30PM
OT optional
$18 - $19/hr
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the disinfection (steam autoclave) process to support manufacturing activities.
- Wash and/or wrap equipment and supplies.
- Loading and unloading of drying oven and steam disinfection equipment.
- Stage sanitized and processed equipment to be sent back to production areas
- Place purchase requisitions for production spare parts and tooling, as necessary
- Verify cycle printouts and logbooks.
- Assist with final packaging activities, such as but not limited to, kitting and prepping lots.
- Assist in performing waste water treatment for proper disposal
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
- Experience with dishwashing in a restaurant or similar setting is a major plus
