Manufacturing Company in Murrieta -Great Opportunity!
We are seeking:
Polishing Operator
Compensation: $16.50 – $18.00
Hours: 5am to 1pm (mandatory O.T)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates polishing equipment to obtain desired polish and luster on parts and products.
- Selects wheels, dressing, and abrasives best suited for type of job.
- Applies and manipulates work to wheels exercising proper pressure and duration to polish and buff using care to maintain contour, relationship, and dimensions.
- Knowledge of all Polishing Levels as well as the following:
- Loads and adjusts work pieces onto equipment, or work tables, using hand tools when needed.
- Remove completed work pieces from equipment or work tables, using hand tools, and place work pieces in containers.
- Select abrasives and or polishing compounds, according to materials, sizes and shapes of work pieces, amount of stock to be removed, finishes specified, and steps in finishing.
- Verify quality of finished work pieces by inspecting them, comparing them to templates, measuring their dimensions, or testing them in working machinery.
- Mark defects for possible rework.
- Record product and processing data on specified forms when needed.
- Assist in minor repairs and maintain equipment, objects, or parts.
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum of 1-3 years polishing experience - belting and buffing
- Manufacturing experience in a production facility.
