Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Pediatric Dermatology
Location: Orange, CA & Newport Beach, CA
Job Type: Part-Time (1-3 days per week, 4-8 hours per day) to start
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Pediatric Dermatology Clinic, serving patients in Orange, CA, and Newport Beach, CA. This position offers part-time hours, with flexible scheduling between 1-3 days per week and varying shifts of 4-8 hours per day. As a valued team member, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dermatologic care to pediatric patients in a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history and dermatologic assessments.

Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric skin conditions, including eczema, acne, rashes, and other dermatological concerns.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with dermatologists.

Educate patients and their families on skin conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.

Perform minor dermatologic procedures as needed, such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and laser treatments.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:

Current and valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of California.

National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, PNP, or Dermatology NP preferred).

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in dermatology or pediatric care preferred.

Strong knowledge of common pediatric dermatologic conditions and treatments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families.

Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
