Job Description
- Provide excellent member service in transactions, account maintenance, and needs-based sales.

- **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
- Carry out essential duties demonstrating values and culture.
- Other duties may be assigned.
1. **Direct Responsibilities:**
- Perform member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
- Discuss and, based on experience, open certificate strategies/options for members.
- Balance general ledgers and inventory items as assigned by the Branch Manager.
- Cross-sell and refer members to appropriate team members (New Account Opener, Loan Officer, Wealth Management, etc.) based on member needs.
- Execute the branch and credit union business plan, including outreach to members.
2. **Developing and Maintaining Member Relationships:**
- Provide personalized, professional service to exceed member expectations and deepen relationships.
- Meet expected service levels for wait time and accuracy.
- Ensure all member requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Act in the member’s best interest, educating them about financial choices and convenience options.
- Identify and refer opportunities to lenders and other business partners.
- Achieve individual goals supporting Branch & credit union objectives.
- Display sound judgment in handling member requests and exceptions, documenting approvals as needed.
- Represent the Credit Union professionally and courteously.
3. **Teller Function Efficiency:**
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of member requests.
- Take ownership of researching potential errors in transactions and communicate with affected members.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and well-organized work area.
- Follow policies and procedures for MSR-related tasks, including cash duties and account openings.
- Perform necessary member file maintenance and account changes.
