Job Summary:
Work with a team of engineers and technicians to sustain epitaxial wafer characterization processes for all MOCVD production, both internal and external. Individual will support MOCVD epitaxial growths, operate semiconductor characterization and testing equipment for evaluating the quality of epitaxial wafers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of material characterization systems used to evaluate MOCVD epitaxy. These include but are not limited to Surfcan surface analysis system, X-Ray system, PL System, and ECV.
- Characterize wafers according to detailed wafer documentation specific to each part.
- Operate a variety of device testing systems used to evaluate semiconductor devices.
- Work closely with a team of Engineers, Scientists and Technicians
- Perform data collection, analysis and reporting
- Summarize and communicate findings accurately to technical team and management
- Assist with other MOCVD and Testing related tasks as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- At least six months of manufacturing experience, preferably in compound semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- BS degree in a technical field
- 2+ years of experience in a high-volume compound semiconductor device manufacturing environment with direct experience in some aspect of wafer characterization or testing.
- BS degree in a technical field, Engineering or Science
This position primarily works in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. The employee must be able to suit up and wear cleanroom attire for extended periods. It requires frequent standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. Data entry will be a necessary part of the job. May stand for extended periods when operating equipment or walking in the facility.
