Location: Cypress
Setting: Manufacturing
This job helps move products in and out of a warehouse.
What you will do
- Receive boxes and products when they arrive
- Check items against a purchase order or invoice to make sure the order is correct
- Write down what came in and what goes out (keep records)
- Set aside items that are damaged or not good enough
- Pick items from shelves to fill customer orders
- Stock shelves and help keep inventory organized
- Pack items in boxes for shipping
- Weigh boxes and help add shipping costs
- Prepare items for final shipment
- Lift heavy items
- Sometimes use a forklift (if trained)
