Manufacturing Technician II/III
Contract-to-Hire | $21–$27/hr (DOE)

We are seeking detail-oriented Manufacturing Technicians (Level II & III) to support production operations in a regulated, high-impact environment. Position Summary
The Manufacturing Technician II/III plays a key role in executing production activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This position supports daily manufacturing operations and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within an ISO 13485 and cGMP-regulated environment, ensuring compliance with all quality system requirements
  • Execute and review documentation in accordance with cGMP and GDP procedures
  • Perform daily documentation review and support post-production documentation completion
  • Conduct visual inspection of lyophilized products and packaging seals
  • Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment alarms/issues to leadership
  • Clean and sanitize manufacturing and support areas
  • Perform calculations related to volumes, concentrations, and unit conversions
  • Operate equipment such as pipettes, balances, pH meters, and heat sealers
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning properly
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement and Quality initiatives
  • Assist with training and mentoring team members
  • Support SOP creation and revisions
  • Author Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and risk analysis documentation
  • Manage materials, including receiving, issuing, and inventory transactions (NetSuite)
  • Support QA logbook review and compliance activities
  • Handle hazardous waste in accordance with safety regulations
  • Perform safety inspections and other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
Manufacturing Technician II
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field + 1 year cGMP experience
    OR
  • Associate’s degree in a related field
    OR
  • High school diploma/equivalent + 3+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience

Manufacturing Technician III
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field + 2+ years cGMP experience
    OR
  • Associate’s degree + 3+ years of experience
    OR
  • High school diploma/equivalent + 5+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance
  • Ability to follow detailed written procedures and SOPs
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Knowledge of cGMP processes and documentation practices
  • Experience with visual inspection of components and finished goods
  • Understanding of chemical and biological safety practices
  • Familiarity with formulation, filling, kitting, labeling, and packaging operations
