Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
About the Opportunity
Company is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I to support the production of standard and custom medical device components. This role is responsible for performing manufacturing operations in compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and internal policies while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities

Follow departmental SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards

Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment according to established procedures

Perform visual inspections and promptly report quality concerns
-
Identify, document, and separate defective product for rework or scrap
-
Understand the manufacturing process from initial operations through final inspection

Complete required documentation and training assignments

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
-
Properly use PPE and follow all safety protocols
-
Participate in cross-training across multiple manufacturing areas

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Success

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
-
Strong teamwork and communication skills
-
Ability to follow instructions and take on additional responsibilities

High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality

Reliable attendance and schedule adherence
-
Ability to meet production goals and deadlines
-
Ability to learn technical concepts through written instructions, SOPs, and hands-on training
-
Ability to work in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment required

Familiarity with medical device or regulated manufacturing standards (cGMP, ISO 13485, or similar) preferred
