Facility Manager – Full-Time
Location: Orange County, CA (Irvine/Fountain Valley area)
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per year
Overview:
A well-established engineering and facilities management firm is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee operations at a high-end commercial property in Orange County. This role is responsible for maintaining building systems, managing service providers, and ensuring operational efficiency across all facility functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Lead corrective, preventative, and calibration maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Implement maintenance programs for equipment inspections, repairs, and procurement.
Vendor & Contractor Management

Manage service contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality execution.

Monitor vendor performance and approve invoices based on contract compliance.

Oversee spare parts inventory and procurement processes.
Project & Budget Management

Plan and coordinate facility-related projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.

Review expenditures for cost efficiency and compliance with budget forecasts.
Health, Safety, & Emergency Response

Collaborate with safety teams to enforce compliance and energy-saving initiatives.

Develop and lead emergency preparedness and response plans (fire, earthquake, power outages, etc.).

Provide after-hours and weekend support when needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities management or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of facility management experience, preferably in Class A+ commercial buildings.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong Excel skills for financial reporting.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Fluency in English required; Korean/English bilingual preferred
