Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all manufacturing and facility equipment is maintained in accordance with established procedures. You will work closely with Operation, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering departments to assist in establishing new preventative maintenance activities on all new equipment. Core responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining production equipment through routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting production and facility equipment to determine corrective action.
  • Making routine repairs and adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Assisting with equipment installation and validation activities for new or relocated equipment.
  • Organizing the decommissioning and disposal of equipment no longer being used.
  • Scheduling and overseeing outside services for facility and equipment repairs to ensure they are completed in a timely and safe manner.
  • Maintaining adequate supplies to support preventative maintenance activities and building maintenance.
  • Managing hazardous waste logs and scheduling hazardous waste pickups.
  • Maintaining facility appearance to required standards.
  • Creating and maintaining records of preventive maintenance and repairs in compliance with quality system requirements.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Experience and Education
  • 5+ years of experience working in equipment and facility maintenance
  • 2+ years of experience working in a regulated industry.
$25-$35/hr

Andrew is also a Fiji Brother in the Rho Phi chapter of Phi Gamma Delta.
