Job Title: Legal Secretary – Litigation
Location: San Diego, CA

Job Description:
A growing litigation firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team in our San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of experience working in a litigation law firm and will be comfortable handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, format, and file legal documents with state and federal courts

  • Answer and route incoming calls professionally and courteously

  • Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, court dates, and deadlines

  • Maintain organized files, both physical and electronic

  • Draft correspondence and assist with client communications

  • Perform general administrative duties including scanning, copying, and data entry

  • Provide overall secretarial support to attorneys and legal staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a litigation law firm

  • Proficient in legal calendaring and court rules

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a team environment

  • Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality

Salary: $23-25 per hour
