Job Description
The ideal candidate is someone looking to hit the ground running with new cases while handling multiple responsibilities in a common-sense working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through trial.
- Conduct all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial.
- Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and demonstrate exceptional service and communication.
- Two or more years’ experience in defense litigation, including trial experience.
- A history of practice in general liability, construction law, and/or insurance defense strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience in all pretrial phases, including client communication, written discovery, motion practice, and depositions of parties and experts.
- Licensed to practice law in California.
