Job Description:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an environmental attorney with 7-10 years of experience to join their nationally recognized Environmental and Natural Resources practice.
Work with industry leaders in manufacturing, utilities, energy, and other sectors on project approvals, litigation, product launches, and more. Alongside a team of renowned attorneys, you will provide a full range of environmental regulatory, transactional, and dispute resolution counseling. Common matters include sustainable development, contaminated sites, environmental impact analysis, permitting, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience advising clients on a wide range of environmental regulatory and administrative enforcement matters, including issues arising under CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and related California statutes.
- Significant experience handling environmental due diligence, investigation, and site and sale of known potentially contaminated property.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional research, analytical, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.
- A high level of academic achievement.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
