Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Location: Chelsea, NY
Duration: 3+ Months (Contract)

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

About the Opportunity
The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our product lifecycle. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, fulfilling customer and internal inventory requests, organizing inventory locations, and performing cycle counts to ensure overall inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced, production-style environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stage and prepare inventory for putaway, including verification of product details

  • Pull inventory accurately for order fulfillment and internal requests

  • Organize and store inventory in properly identified locations

  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy

  • Fulfill inventory pull requests to support various business needs

  •  

    Preferred Qualifications (Plus):

  • Inventory or product handling experience with luxury goods

  • Experience working with single-SKU inventory systems

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)

  • Experience operating handheld scanners or similar devices

  • Experience identifying and communicating inventory shortages

  • Prior experience conducting inventory cycle counts

    What We’re Looking For
    Required Qualifications:

  • Entry-level inventory or product handling experience

  • Experience working in a fast-paced or production environment

  • Ability to meet individual and departmental KPIs and goals

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs

  • Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the workday

  • Ability to multitask effectively

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays with advance notice

  •  

  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area

  • Communicate inventory discrepancies or shortages as needed

  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support business operations
