Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Job Summary
The Human Resource Manager is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for fostering a work environment that attracts, empowers, develops, rewards, and retains a dynamic workforce in compliance with state and federal laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the HR Administrator.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and recommend best practices.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage talent acquisition, including recruiting, offer letters, background checks, onboarding, and orientation.
- Lead employee relations and retention efforts, including team building, recognition programs, and culture development.
- Administer employee leaves and accommodations (FMLA, ACA).
- Oversee performance management systems.
- Handle investigations, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
- Manage compensation analysis, employment agreements, and contracts.
- Maintain job descriptions and pay scales.
- Develop succession planning programs.
- Administer employee benefits and manage renewals.
- Process payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
- Coordinate annual employee and manager training and certifications.
- Collaborate with Health and Safety team to ensure workplace safety.
- Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and OSHA reporting.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources Management; SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- 5+ years of HR leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and benefits administration.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and employee relations skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based work.
