Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Medical Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you’ll support physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals to provide exceptional care in a welcoming, patient-centered environment. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and teamwork will help us deliver on our mission of Service, Dignity, Justice, and Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist providers with direct patient care, procedures, and clinical workflows.

Perform patient intake, including vital signs, medical histories, and documentation.

Prepare exam rooms and ensure patient comfort and safety during visits.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR); experience with Allscripts is highly preferred.

Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.

Maintain a professional appearance in compliance with clinical dress code (scrubs, closed-toe shoes, hair neatly tied back, nails short/clean).

Participate in quality improvement activities and support a positive, team-oriented work culture.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

At least 1 year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Familiarity with EHR systems (Allscripts a plus).
Schedule & Compensation:
-
Full-time: 40 hours/week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Wednesday 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM / Occasional Saturdays 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM in exchange for a weekday shift.

Pay: $21 – $23/hour, depending on experience.

Outside of work, Anthony enjoys uncovering new restaurants, trying various cuisines and hosting dinner gatherings with his friends and family. He’s a big advocate for being active and enjoys outdoor activities such as pickleball, table tennis, billiards, basketball, bowling, darts, and fishing. But now and then, he does appreciate some R&R by just binging some series with his wife and cat at home.
