HR Assistant
Role Summary: We are seeking an HR Assistant to manage and organize personnel files, update our HRIS system, develop standardized training content, and enhance onboarding processes using tools like Chat GPT and Canva. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proficiency in data management, and a creative approach to training development and administrative tasks.
Essential Functions:
  • Data Organization: Identify, review, and organize active and terminated personnel files, as well as miscellaneous employee/onboarding files. This includes scanning paper files and organizing them within the proper folders.
  • HRIS System Management: Perform data entry tasks within our HRIS system, Paylocity, ensuring historical data is up-to-date and accurate. Update personal information directories.
  • Training Material Development: Assist in the analysis and transcription of current training practices. Develop standardized onboarding training materials for Sales, Sourcing, and Operations teams, utilizing tools like Chat GPT for transcribing meeting transcripts and creating SOPs.
  • Onboarding Development: Design and create forms for new programs/policies. Document new onboarding workflows and create supplemental SOPs. Use Canva to create helpful visuals for new employees. Handle other administrative tasks as necessary.

Education and/or Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1 Year of Administrative HR Experience required
  • Experience developing SOPs preferred
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods during the shift
  • Finger, wrist, and hand dexterity with repetitive motion
  • Ideal candidates will have a knack for meticulous organization, proficiency in data management software, and a creative approach to training and onboarding development. Experience with HRIS systems, particularly Paylocity, and familiarity with tools like Chat GPT and Canva are highly desirable.
