Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
$20-$24/hr DOE
SUMMARY:
Perform and assist with a variety of routine maintenance tasks for the facility including but not limited to production and office areas. Duties may include general cleaning and fabrication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine maintenance such as inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters or other preventative maintenance.
- Perform general cleaning of facilities, including internal and external.
- May fabricate or repair common areas and workspaces.
- May monitor and assist vendors and contractors on site.
- Perform routine tasks such as painting, wall repair, plumbing, and light electrical.
- Assist with office moves, renovations, stocking supplies and other similar tasks.
- Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
- Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.
- Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- Two (2) years industrial manufacturing experience or equivalent of education and experience.
- Knowledge of standard and basic hand tools.
- Ability understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
- Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance.
