Escrow Officer

In this role, you will take the lead in managing and facilitating the escrow process to ensure seamless property transactions. You’ll bring expertise, efficiency, and a high level of customer service to every interaction, creating a positive experience for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire escrow process from opening to closing, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare, review, and manage escrow instructions, settlement statements, and closing documents.
  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties to resolve issues and ensure smooth transactions.
  • Verify title documents and manage the clearing of title issues.
  • Handle the disbursement of funds, including calculating and ensuring accuracy of prorations and payoffs.
  • Conduct pre-sales of escrow residential transactions and provide guidance to clients throughout the process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of closing packages and funding requests.
  • Monitor deadlines and critical dates to prevent delays or issues during the escrow process.
  • Manage high-volume desks, closing 30+ files monthly, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Use RBJ software for file management and documentation.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns efficiently and professionally.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements to provide expertise to clients.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders to support ongoing business development and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the President-Escrow Branch Manager on process improvements and team initiatives.

Job Requirements

RBJ software is a plus and closing files of 25-30 a month
