Job Description
The Electronic Engineer is responsible for supporting sales and product development through the design, implementation, and maintenance of embedded electronic systems. This role involves developing practical embedded solutions for existing and new products, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams from concept through manufacturing and customer delivery.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with embedded systems, circuit design, and software development, and thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on innovation and reliability.
Responsibilities and Assigned Tasks

Provide comprehensive electrical and electronic engineering support for existing systems and product lines.

Develop and maintain embedded system code, create schematic diagrams, and design printed circuit boards.

Prepare technical specifications and proposals in response to customer requirements for new products and services.

Review engineering drawings and define production requirements, including testing for new projects and sales orders.

Evaluate returned equipment, determine scope of repairs, and propose corrective actions.

Develop preliminary designs and cost estimates for new systems and product enhancements.

Conduct detailed analyses and prepare engineering plans for embedded software development to meet customer specifications.

Demonstrate hardware and software system functionality and verify product reliability and safety.

Perform circuit and embedded system simulations using industry-standard software tools.

Review and verify the accuracy of engineering documentation.

Specify electronic components and identify qualified suppliers.

Prepare test plans, validation procedures, and end-user documentation.

Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT) and prepare detailed test reports.

Collaborate closely with production and test teams to ensure timely and accurate project completion.

Maintain calibration records for electronic test equipment.
Qualifications
-
10+ years of professional experience as an electronic engineer or embedded systems analyst in an industrial setting.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver consistent progress.

Proven track record of developing new product concepts in collaboration with management.

Technical knowledge of marine systems or embedded systems for submersible or industrial applications preferred.

Experience with Microchip PIC processors; familiarity with ARM processors, RTOS, or embedded Linux is a plus.

Proficiency with tools such as MPLAB X IDE, CCS Compiler, Altium Designer, and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Strong understanding of BLDC motors, motion control systems, optics, or marine acoustics is highly desirable.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

Ability to travel occasionally for offsite work assignments (up to two weeks).

Valid driver’s license and passport required.
