Electronic Technician / Assembler

Job Description
- Assemble electronic equipment, install components, units, sub-assemblies, & wiring
- Assemble units with process that may include but not limited to: soldering, stripping wires, crimping pins, heat shrinking of tubing, labels
- Read and interpret drawings, Schematics, specifications, work orders or reports
- Test products to ensure conformance to specification
- Perform manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices used in simulation avionic systems
- Electronic Engineering Tech degree preferred, High School Diploma/GED Required
- Demonstrate good soldering skills
- Recent PC Board soldering experience
- Able to read work instructions and assembly drawings
- Ability to fully wire units using schematics and wiring diagrams with little to no supervision
- Knowledge of operating crimping tools, ohmmeter, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
- Able to sit for a long period of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk, reach, pull up to 20 pounds
