Job Description
Our client is looking to permanently hire a Corporate CPA to assist managing their various investment companies (Real Estate, Manufacturing, and others).
Career Growth Opportunity: This role will eventually transition to becoming the next Chief Financial Officer for the company within the next 3-5 years.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a right-hand assistant to the current Chief Financial Officer for various accounting duties.
- This manager will be taught many of the CFO's current tasks in order for a smooth transition later on.
- Runs various accounting reports and resolves past due, monitors customer account details for non-payment, chargebacks, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Communicate with residential property management companies.
- Oversee the flow of cash and financial investments
- Analyze information to assess current and future financial statuses
- Review costs for optimal budget planning
- Evaluate reporting systems and collection procedures
Qualifications:
- Active CPA License (Firm Requirement)
- 7+ years of Accounting Experience as a Staff Accountant or higher level (ie. Accounting Manager, Controller, etc.)
- B2B Experience is a plus as this role does not interact with end-user customers/tenants.
- Leadership experience is welcome but not required since the team here is small and self-sufficient with 20+ years of experience each.
- Pay $185-$200K Annual Salary
