Salary: $250,000-275,000
Job Description:
A renowned law firm is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of experience in corporate transactions to join their Los Angeles office.
An attorney in this position will handle a wide range of transactional matters for major companies across the country, working closely with senior corporate attorneys in an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with federal securities laws, rules and regulations.
- Broad range of experience with corporate transactions, including private offerings of equity securities, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and general compliance matters.
- Experience drafting LLC agreements, LP agreements, and other formation documents.
- Experience with investment fund formation in real estate, venture capital, or private equity.
- A background in compliance with the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act is preferred.
- Prior AmLaw 200 employment preferred.
- Extensive history with client interaction and communication.
- A high level of academic achievement.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
