Marquee Legal is actively recruiting litigation attorneys for an hourly contract role. This position offers the ability to collaborate with highly respected and experienced lawyers on complex and meaningful cases, while working independently and fully remote with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and review discovery documents
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Handle discovery disputes as well as meet and confer obligations
  • Communicate regularly with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and supervising attorneys
  • Prepare deposition outlines, trial notebooks, and other preparatory materials
Requirements:
  • Licensed to practice law in California
  • Must reside primarily in California
  • Two or more years of experience practicing civil litigation in California
  • Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
