Position Summary: The Client Services Specialist acts as a liaison between clients and relationship managers, providing operational and administrative support for the regional office. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. The position supports client service delivery, account analysis, and internal coordination.
Essential Duties:
- Support compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, CIP, CDD, and OFAC regulations.
- Respond to inquiries and assist with identifying suspicious activity.
- Manage phone calls, messages, and appointment scheduling.
- Prepare and handle confidential correspondence.
- Research and follow up on client issues and concerns.
- Facilitate communication between relationship managers and internal departments.
- Assist with new account setup, loan documentation, and account maintenance.
- Maintain and update customer credit files and financial statements.
- Monitor overdraft reports and document reportable activity.
- Verify and process client banking transaction requests.
- Provide basic online support and assist with treasury management items.
- Perform general administrative duties and special projects.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and regular attendance.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Strong typing and intermediate math skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems in non-standardized situations.
- Valid driver's license and insured vehicle (if driving is required).
