CRE Division Head - Los Angeles Region

Position Overview
- Lead the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending Division, managing and driving strategic goals for CRE lending activities within a commercial bank setting.
- Oversee loans specifically in the sectors of SBA (Small Business Administration), CRE (Commercial Real Estate), and Import/Export lending.
- Collaborate with senior bank leadership to align the CRE division with the bank’s broader business and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing CRE team focused on loan evaluation, approval, and servicing.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear KPIs, and ensure the team meets both regulatory and bank standards in lending practices.
- Loan Evaluation & Approval
- Oversee the assessment of loan applications for diverse commercial property types, such as office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.
- Ensure all loans meet underwriting standards, risk management protocols, and are within regulatory guidelines.
- Strategic & Regulatory Alignment
- Ensure that all CRE lending activities comply with regulatory standards and align with the bank's strategic goals, adjusting policies and procedures as necessary to meet evolving regulations.
- Client & Stakeholder Relationships
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with real estate clients, brokers, and industry stakeholders, promoting the bank’s CRE services and expanding its footprint in the Los Angeles region.
- Market Analysis & Strategic Planning
- Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends in the real estate market, adjusting division strategy to capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Drive the division’s revenue growth, developing new lending products or adjusting existing ones to meet client needs.

Qualifications
- Strong management experience, with a background in Commercial Real Estate lending, underwriting, and commercial banking.
- Familiarity with SBA lending and experience in Import/Export banking are essential.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to lead a team, work with stakeholders, and navigate regulatory environments.

Compensation
- Eligible for quarterly performance-based bonuses.
- Additional discretionary bonuses awarded annually based on the division’s success and individual performance.
