CNC Set Up (Mill-Turn) Machinist

Job Description

We are a fast-paced Job-Shop, medium-sized, with consistent work and a strong cooperative management team. We are looking for team players who are always willing to learn more. We have Mori Seiki and Takisawa turn-mills along with Okuma, Wasino, and ProtoTrak turning centers. We encourage teamwork and participation on the shop floor as a vital part of our quest for excellence as we help our customers make consistent and precise products. We also have substantial multi-Axis Milling and EDM centers.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a setup machinist on CNC Lathes
  • Programming experience is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and GD&T symbols and develop appropriate machining methods.
  • Ability to use inspection tools to verify part conformance.
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and written.
