We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Business Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper utilization and optimization of existing business systems, maintaining configuration and master data, and troubleshooting system issues. The BSA will also analyze complex business problems and drive process improvements through system automation and change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business leaders to support, maintain, and document local business processes and future system needs.
  • Collaborate with business area owners to recommend cross-functional process improvements to the Enterprise Business Systems team.
  • Document approved business process changes, including process flow and training materials.
  • Perform master data creation and maintenance in compliance with GMP, GDP, and change control processes.
  • Troubleshoot business system issues and escalate to the Change Management Team when necessary.
  • Train end-users and ensure proper system utilization according to global guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison between business/site process owners and technical teams.
  • Participate in global system Change Management teams to support ongoing enhancements and system upgrades.
  • Ensure proper testing and validation of system functionality.
  • Adhere to ISO, GMP, GDP, SOX, and other regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of experience in a regulated, medical device, or manufacturing environment.
  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology, or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience in a regulated industry.
  • High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience in a regulated, medical device, or manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP solutions (SAP preferred). (This is a business process-focused role, not a highly technical IT position.)
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Experience managing complex inventories with non-traditional units of measure.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
General Skills:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze complex documents and respond effectively to inquiries and complaints.
  • Professional demeanor with a collaborative and proactive approach.
Work Environment:
  • The position is primarily performed in an office or controlled laboratory environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, and automated equipment.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, reaching, talking, and hearing.
  • May involve lifting/moving items up to 15 pounds.
  • Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, and focus adjustment.
