We are hiring a Business Development Specialist who will focus on outside sales and new client acquisition for our San Diego County Branch located in Carlsbad, CA. You will be working directly with business clients and our internal recruitment team to connect qualified candidates with new career opportunities.

JOB OVERVIEW
- Provide business solutions to clients which include Temporary/Temp-to-Hire, Executive Search, Direct Hire Staffing, Payroll Services, Managed Service Programs (MSP, On-Site)
- Identify, qualify targe accounts with the purpose of generating new business for Marquee Staffing
- Provide high level customer service to our client
- Collaborating with internal recruitment team to strategize and identify best candidates for positions
- New client research, skill market, active sales calls, customer presentations, client visits/appointments and attending networking events.
ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Development Specialist will have the opportunity to recruit for open roles, establish relationships with candidates, and present them to open positions as well as skill market to potential new clients.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 2+ years experience in B2B Sales or Staffing in a professional services environment
- Membership to scholastic or sports clubs, volunteer and/or leadership organizations while attending college is desired
- Ability to connect with individuals at various levels within an organization
- Strong cold-calling and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Proficiency with ATS and/or CRM sales tools (Bullhorn, HubSpot, Salesforce, Herefish, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Strong business acumen and organizational skill
- Enjoys being involved in professional networking
- Valid Driver's License

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Base Salary: $40,000 - $60,000/ year based on experience + uncapped commission potential
