? Experienced Soldering Assembler – High-Precision Work | $28–$32/hr?
A growing San Diego manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Soldering Assembler who takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship. If you have strong wire harness assembly + First Article (FAI) experience, this is a great opportunity to join a team where your expertise truly matters.
? Pay: $28–$32/hr (DOE)
? Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (early start = early finish!)
? What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build complex wire harnesses, cables, and electromechanical assemblies
- Perform detailed wire prep (stripping, tinning, crimping, terminating)
- Execute precision soldering & de-soldering (through-hole; microscope work as needed)
- Work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and detailed work instructions
- Lead and support First Article Assembly (FAI) builds
- Conduct testing, inspections, troubleshooting, and rework
- Ensure top-tier quality standards and accurate documentation
? What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of wire harness / cable assembly experience
- Strong skills in soldering, crimping, and wire routing
- Ability to confidently read schematics, drawings, and BOMs
- Experience with hand tools, crimp tools, and electrical test equipment
- Background in First Article Inspection/Assembly (FAI)
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
