1st Shift EM Assembler B - Coil Winder
Job Description
Position Summary:
Performs short-cycle assembly of electromechanical products and subassemblies of moderate complexity under the direction of the Assembly Lead.
Essential Functions:

Assemble and rework electronic and electromechanical precision components such as switches, synchros, potentiometer gearboxes, and circuit boxes.

Operate hand tools and light power tools (e.g., drill press, hand grinder, sanders).

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Perform soldering and wiring tasks as required to complete assemblies.
-
Immediately report any shortages or defective parts to the Assembly Lead.

Produce quality work; subject to inspection by Assembly Lead or Quality Control.

Maintain cleanliness and follow safety standards throughout the work process.

Gain familiarity with company-specific designs, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Skills & Abilities:

Understanding of basic electronic theory.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Capable of following written and verbal instructions accurately.
Education & Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Physical Requirements:

Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with arms, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, or hear.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs occasionally.
Work Environment:

Exposure to a manufacturing floor environment with varying temperature and potential fumes.
