Pay Range: $17.00 to $17.25 per hour. –
Currently, we are seeking an Assembler E/M 1 Sensor for our Sensor Manufacturing department. This position may be filled at another level depending upon experience.
Position Purpose
Working in the Sensor Manufacturing Department, this position will be responsible to perform the sensor manufacturing functions as designated by the supervisor.
Essential Job Functions (primary duties and outputs of position)
- Follow written or verbal instruction and referring to drawings or job order notes when required.
- Cut and trim wires to length, then join sensors and wires together by spot welding.
- Mix the appropriate potting compounds according to specifications.
- Install sensors into sensor head assembly, pot sensors and oven cure according to directions.
- Test completed sensor assemblies per specifications and perform job order computer transactions.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain effective and constructive working relationships with others both internally and externally.
- 1 or more years of experience working as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- High degree of manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools to perform repetitive tasks.
- Use test equipment such as digital multi-meters and Insulation resistance testers.
- Work under a microscope.
- Use soldering iron when required / spot welding.
- Requires US citizenship or permanent resident status.
