Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler B to support electronic and mechanical assembly operations. This position involves assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic components while following established quality and workmanship standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on assembly experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic components using through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) techniques

  • Perform mechanical and PCB assembly following work instructions and drawings

  • Use manual and automated soldering tools, microscopes, and other assembly equipment

  • Inspect assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with IPC or J-STD-001 standards

  • Identify and resolve basic assembly issues, escalating concerns when necessary

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Follow safety, quality, and production procedures
Job Requirements

  • J-STD-001 certification preferred but not required

  • Ability to identify electronic components (through-hole and SMT)

  • Basic understanding of mechanical and PCB assembly processes

  • Familiarity with manual and automated soldering tools and microscopes

  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and technical documents

  • Strong attention to detail and precision in repetitive tasks

  • Good problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work with minimal supervision
Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/production setting

  • Seated and standing work may be required

  • Use of hand tools, microscopes, and soldering equipment
