Job Description
Job Summary:
Performing mechanical assembly of dental equipment, using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in an ISO controlled production environment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reading, understanding and following written documents that describe the company’s policies, procedures, and methods used in manufacturing.
- Understanding FDA regulations and ISO standards applicable to department operations and consequences of non conformance
- Follow applicable manufacturing OSHA safety regulations
- Utilize a variety of tools such as a screw drivers, hand drills, pliers and special fixtures
- Completes precision cleaning of small parts using industry standard solvents and cleaning solutions
- Performs rework and repairs as required
- Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
- Performs checks using a variety of gauges such as calipers and micrometers to ensure conformance to specifications
- Reconcile and maintain accurate parts inventory.
- Interfaces with other manufacturing personnel and engineering on progress of assigned tasks
- Change job status in company’s ERP system
- Monitor that equipment and facilities are kept suitable for their intended use: where necessary,
- communicating needs for maintenance, repair etc. to the Production Manager and Technical Services
- Actively participate and collaborate with other team members of the production team to ensure that production targets are met
