Leading motorcycle dealership based in Irvine, California is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing team!
Job Summary:
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the financial health and growth of the organization. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for business strategy.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial models and business plans.
- Conduct variance analysis to understand discrepancies between actual and budgeted financial results.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze relevant financial information.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Participate in financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
- Occasionally travel within California to visit other dealership locations and attend business meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency with TALONes dealer management system is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with financial software and databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the motorcycle industry is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within California.
