Job Description
Position Overview:
The role involves setting up and operating CNC Screw Machines to carry out a variety of machining tasks, including boring, threading, facing, grooving, drilling, and turning.
Shift: 3:30pm-12:00AM w/ OT
Pay: $32.00/hr-$35.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow work orders and routers to manufacture parts according to specified standards.
- Load bar feeders and oversee the overall machine operations.
- Use precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, thread gauges) to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Receive bar stock and manage the Kanban system for finished goods within the screw machine area.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in machining operations, following routers and standard work orders.
- Strong comprehension of both written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and have a solid understanding of math.
- Capability to produce first-article parts.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC Swiss-Type screw machines.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Physical Requirements: The job may require occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, or crouching. The employee may need to lift or move items weighing up to 20 lbs.

Work Environment: The work is performed in conditions that may expose the employee to varying weather, as well as in a climate-controlled office. The noise level is moderate, and the factory floor is located within the same building as the office.
