Job Description
Luxury goods brand is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their growing team in Newport Beach, CA.
Job Duties
- Collaborate with the sales team and the Sr. Accounts Receivable Accountants to perform the revenue three-way match documentation process, including collection of invoices, client acknowledgements, transfer of title documents, and proof of payment.
- Review three-way match documents for relevance and completenes
- Organize and file the appropriate three-way match documents in a location that is easily retrievable for audit purposes.
- Complete the weekly AR roll forward report
- Process customer payments through the Netsuite Accounting System
- Perform journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and accuracy.
- Sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail.
- Reconcile customer statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
- Reconcile the customer deposit ledger monthly.
- Support the month end close process with ad-hoc tasks as needed to meet the close timeline.
What You Bring to the Team
- Your AR experience is paired with general bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.
- You may be proficient in NetSuite.
- Technology is an important tool that you use to process information, analyze data, and stay organized.
- You are well-versed in Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel.
- You like being organized and are methodical in your approach to getting things done.
- Attention to detail is a part of who you are.
- You possess superb ability to multi-task and prioritize competing duties.
- You are highly adaptable with a willingness to assist with any task.
- Communication is the key to building trust and getting clarity on the objective. You are clear, concise and can communicate effectively with all types of people.
